Shaded glass look
Smoked black glass keeps the stem looking tidy for longer, and around 25% thicker glass makes it stronger than stock stems.
Two lengths
70mm for a compact setup, 90mm if you like a little more length in hand.

Fill the XL chamber
Load the deep-fill chamber end.
Insert into your device
Push the chamber end into your Solo or Air as normal.
Clean and swap
Soak in isopropyl alcohol, rinse with warm water and dry fully. Use the spare in the meantime.

I was disappointed that these stems cannot accommodate my dosing capsule so I will rarely use them.

Will an XL stem work in my Solo 3?
Yes. XL means the chamber is deeper, not that the stem is wider. The Onyx XL is made for the Solo 3 and Solo 3 V2.0 and the rest of the Solo and Air series. Our XL stems guide explains more.
70mm or 90mm: which should I choose?
Both have the same XL deep-fill chamber. The 70mm is more compact, and the 90mm gives you a little more length in hand.
Why black glass?
It's mostly about looks: the smoked, shaded finish keeps the stem looking tidy for longer. The glass is also around 25% thicker than stock stems.
Can I use dosing capsules in it?
Not all of them. The glass is around 25% thicker than stock stems, so some dosing capsules won't go in. If you mainly use capsules, the Onyx XL isn't the best choice.
Does the Onyx XL work with the Arizer Solo 2 and Air 2?
Yes. It's made for the whole Arizer Solo and Air series: Solo, Solo 2, Solo 2 MAX, Solo 3, Solo 3 V2.0, Air, Air 2, Air MAX and Air SE. See the full list of models.
How do I clean it?
