Sealed in for good

Push the chamber end into your Solo or Air as normal. The glass balls cool the vapor on its way to you.
Clean now and then
Soak in isopropyl alcohol, rinse well with warm water and let it dry fully before use.

It definitely IS more effective than the Evolution stem
Bought this to replace a broken Sneaky Pete Evolution stem. It feels more delicate in the hand than the Evolution, but does a noticeably better job of cooling the vapour and thus facilitates even longer, deeper hits. I quickly ran into the problem some others have mentioned of beads sticking to the vent below the mouthpiece and completely blocking the vapour path, but you can easily poke them back down with the Arizer glass stirring tool (or any kind of needle).

I think there would be a small risk, especially if there was residue on the stem, that constant freezing and heat may impact the structure of the glass, especially long term.

YES,,,, it cools your vape. Bit restrictive, so you find yourself trying to make hard pulls, which will kill your throat. Also I would say the cooling balls tend to get stuck in the top exit to mouth piece, which is a pain if you have to dump out your herb and hit it on something to work the ball back out (this happens 3 out of 5 times because ariser you load upside down so the ball will fall in exit hole). Then start all over, and normally you don't notice till it's to late and wondering why it's not hitting correctly wasting herb. Good quality, just room for improvement.

It does a fantastic job of cooling the vapor but it clogs very easily without frequent, extra-thorough cleaning and it's incredibly fragile. I enjoyed mine for about a month before an accidental slip while cleaning left me with a sink full of glass. It's a good stem but the need to clean/risks with cleaning trade-off isn't worth it for me.

That's not something clear in the cooling stem's listing and it absolutely should be, so we'll aim to get that added in the future! Regarding balls sometimes getting stuck in the inlet hole, this is something that is being actively fixed for the next batch. We really appreciate you giving your honest feedback and it (may) excite you to know we have XL versions (both herb chamber being XL, but also a larger stem with more cooling balls) arriving in the next month or so. We are also releasing stainless steel versions that will have a faster cooling down period which may suit you better! We're sorry this didn't work out for you and if you get in touch we'll see about getting you sent an XL version when they finally arrive!

Is this a good cooling stem for the Arizer Solo 3?
Yes. It's our best-selling dry cooling stem for the Solo 3 and Solo 3 V2.0. Hundreds of sealed glass balls cool the vapor without any water. If you'd prefer a pack of two, see the comparison.
Does it replace the mouthpiece on my Solo or Air?
Yes. On the Solo and Air the glass stem is the mouthpiece: one end goes into the device and you draw from the other. The Ultra simply takes its place.
What's the difference between the Original and XL floral chamber?
The size of the chamber at the tip. The Original takes a standard load, and the XL floral chamber takes a bigger load for longer sessions.
Do the glass balls ever come out?
They're made to stay in. Both ends of the stem are crimped so the glass balls stay sealed inside.
Does the Ultra work with the Arizer Solo 2 and Air 2?
Yes. It's made for the whole Arizer Solo and Air series: Solo, Solo 2, Solo 2 MAX, Solo 3, Solo 3 V2.0, Air, Air 2, Air MAX and Air SE. See the full list of models.
Is the Ultra an official Arizer product?

How do I clean it?
