XL loads
The deep-fill chamber holds more than a standard adapter stem.
Open draws, thicker glass
High airflow for open pulls, and around 25% thicker glass for everyday use.
Find your joint size
Your water pipe needs a female joint of 10mm, 14mm or 18mm.
Load the XL chamber
Fill the chamber end, with a domed screen if you like.
Connect
Insert the chamber end into your device and the frosted joint into your water pipe.
Clean and swap
Soak in isopropyl alcohol, rinse with warm water and dry fully. Use the spare in the meantime.

These are simply awesome. The added airflow makes it alot easier to fill up the stems since you can now pack them tighter and still have enough airflow for vaping. The glass is thicker than the original stems so they seems more sturdy also.

Glass a bit too thick…
The glass on these is certainly thick. The OEM WPA from Arizer has an OD of 14.5mm. The two tubes I just received from vaptrix are 14.56mm and 14.61mm, which makes them a little tight to get into and out of the solo3. The inner dimension (ID) of the original WPA is 11.45mm. The ID of the Vaptrix tubes are 10.25mm and 10.4mm for the two tubes. Proof the glass is thicker, but that is problematic for me. The OD being larger makes getting them in or out more difficult, but certainly not impossible. The smaller ID means no dosing caps. If you are ok with these limitations, these are good WPAs. I was hoping to use with dosing caps, but mine don’t fit.

Do I need a water pipe adapter for the Solo 3?
To use your Solo or Air with a water pipe, yes. The adapter takes the place of your stem: load it, insert it into the device, and connect the joint to your water pipe. Read do you really need a water pipe adapter?
Which joint sizes does it work with?
10mm, 14mm and 18mm female joints. The stepped male joint covers all three, so one adapter works with most water pipes and bubblers.
How do I know my water pipe's joint size?
Most water pipes use a 10mm, 14mm or 18mm female joint. Our guide on choosing the right joint size shows how to tell.
Aero XL WPA or 14mm WPA?
The Aero XL WPA covers 10mm, 14mm and 18mm joints and adds an XL chamber and high airflow. The 14mm WPA is a simpler adapter for 14mm joints only.
Does it work with the Solo 2?
Yes. It's made for the Solo 2 and Solo 2 MAX, and the rest of the Solo and Air series.
How do I clean it?
Soak it in isopropyl alcohol, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Let it dry fully before use. Our stem cleaning guide has more tips.

The glass on these is certainly thick. The OEM WPA from Arizer has an OD of 14.5mm.
