Each stem has a black polyolefin wrap around the outside. In June 2026 Health Canada and the US CPSC announced a recall limited to the Solo III Intergalactic (Black) colourway with specific serial-number prefixes. It concerns the internal battery, not stems or glass. Other Solo 3 units are not named in the notices.
