Set your own draw
Turn the setting wheel from a tight draw to a wide-open one, up to 20 litres a minute.
Charges quickly
Two lithium-ion batteries and USB-C Supercharge take it to about 80% in around 40 minutes.
Charge it fully
Charge it fully before first use with the USB-C cable supplied.
Fill the chamber
Fill the 1.4 cm³ chamber, or use a dosing capsule.
Pick a temperature
Base 180°C, double-click for Booster (+15°C) and again for Superbooster (+15°C more), or set 40-210°C.
Set the airflow
Turn the setting wheel until the draw feels right.

How fast does the VENTY heat up?
In about 20 seconds, with a patented mini-heater that combines convection and conduction.
What temperatures can I use?
40-210°C. The presets are Base 180°C, Booster 195°C and Superbooster 210°C, and you can change the Base and Booster.
How does the airflow adjustment work?
A setting wheel opens the draw up to 20 litres a minute, and a flowmeter matches the heating to how hard you draw.
How long does it take to charge?
About 40 minutes to 80% with USB-C Supercharge (USB-C PD). Charge it fully before the first use.
How do I clean the VENTY?
Let it cool, take off the cooling unit and clean it and the chamber with the brush supplied. Swap the screens and O-rings when they are worn: spares come in the box. Our step-by-step VENTY cleaning guide covers each part.
Can I use dosing capsules?
Yes. Pre-filled capsules make swapping loads quick. Our glass dosing capsules are made for the VENTY. Read why glass capsules are worth it.
Can I use it with water?
Yes, with a bubbler that fits the cooling unit. Our side bubbler for the VENTY is the most popular option.
VENTY or Frolic?
The VENTY reaches temperature in about 20 seconds and has 2 built-in batteries. The LimeLight Frolic adds an on-demand mode that heats in about 5 seconds and a removable 21700 battery. See the comparison and our heat-up test.
Can I control it from my phone?
Yes, through the Storz & Bickel Web App in a browser over Bluetooth. You don't need an app store download, and the device works without it.
