Longer means cooler
A 120mm stem gives the vapour further to travel than the stock stem, so it cools on the way.

Plain and simple
No beads or spirals: just rinse and go.
Keep one clean
Two plain stems: use one while the other soaks.
Take out the old stem
Pull your current glass stem straight up and out of the top of your LOBO or ONE. With the stem out, it's a good time to fit a fresh brass screen.
Push the new stem in
Push this stem straight down into the same opening on top until it sits snugly. No twisting needed.
Heat and draw
Set your temperature as usual and draw slowly.
Clean and swap
Soak in isopropyl alcohol, rinse with warm water and let it dry fully before refitting.

Does a longer stem make the vapour cooler?
Yes. The extra length gives the vapour more time to cool before it reaches you. Read why a longer air path helps on the Lobo.
Is there an angled version?
Yes. Our Long Half-Black set has one angled and one straight 120mm stem.
How do I clean it?
Soak it in isopropyl alcohol, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Let it dry fully before you use it again.

Do I still need a screen?
Yes. Keep a screen in your Lobo or ONE so loose material can't get into the stem. Our 9.8mm brass screens are made for the Lobo.
