Airflow stays open
The beads sit in a wide chamber, so the draw stays easy rather than tight.
Two in every pack
Use one while the other soaks. Customers tell us it's the easiest bead stem to clean.
Take out the old stem
Pull your current glass stem straight up and out of the top of your LOBO or ONE. With the stem out, it's a good time to fit a fresh brass screen.
Push the new stem in
Push this stem straight down into the same opening on top until it sits snugly. No twisting needed.
Heat and draw
Set your temperature as usual and draw slowly.
Clean and swap
Soak in isopropyl alcohol, rinse with warm water and let it dry fully before refitting.

To be clear, I am not associated or affiliated with any vape supplier or seller. This is my honest opinion. Other than an independent water bubbler, the Ultra Cooling Bead stem is without a doubt the smoothest vape stem I have used. I have (water) recycler bubbler stems, twisted glass, stems, and a variety of others. I was stunned at how smooth this stem is. There are a couple stems that are pretty darn good for the Lobo. I love POTV, but the recycler stem was a solid miss for me, my experience with recyclers are that they can be tricky on any given day, which equates to a little bit too much of a hassle for me. The globe and the Cordito are not bad at all. In fact, I use the thumper if I’m going to go water and the thumper is awesome. This ultra cooling bead stem is really really good folks. I was stunned about how smooth it consistently is, and really really easy to clean also, a little squirt of alcohol, a little shake and rinse, and it’s good to go. This is a very solid piece from head to toe. I appreciate the thumper, which again is a larger water bubbler piece, again that is not just a stem. If you are not looking for “glass”, this is a good purchase. This is my number one used stem period. It works really well, if I had to choose only one stem, it would be this piece, period!

What's the best cooling stem for the POTV Lobo?
For dry cooling, this is our coolest: a wide chamber of glass beads. If you want water, try our XL bubbler. Compare every option in the comparison.
Is it a pack of two?
Yes. You get two Ultra Cooling Beads stems, so there's always a clean one ready.
Does the draw feel tight?
No. The beads sit in a wide chamber, so the airflow stays open. Customers describe it as clean and unrestricted.
How do I clean a bead stem?
Soak the whole stem in isopropyl alcohol and give it a gentle shake so it reaches between the beads. Rinse well with warm water and let it dry fully. Don't push brushes into the beads. More in our bead stem cleaning guide.
Does the Ultra Cooling Beads stem fit both the Lobo and the ONE?
Yes. It's made for the Planet of the Vapes Lobo and ONE and fits the same way on both. See the Made for tab.
Do I still need a screen?
Yes. Keep a screen in your Lobo or ONE so loose material can't get into the stem. Our 9.8mm brass screens are made for the Lobo.
What temperature should I use on the Lobo?
The Lobo runs from 160 to 221°C. Start low for flavour and work up in small steps; a cooling stem keeps higher settings smoother. See our best temperature ranges for the Lobo.
Is the Ultra Cooling Beads stem an official Planet of the Vapes product?
No. It's designed and sold by The Vapetrix and made to fit Planet of the Vapes devices.
