Built to be carried
A slim, tough stem for days out when a bubbler isn't practical.
A spare in the pack
Two stems, so one can soak while you use the other.
Take out the old stem
Pull your current glass stem straight up and out of the top of your LOBO or ONE. With the stem out, it's a good time to fit a fresh brass screen.
Push the new stem in
Push this stem straight down into the same opening on top until it sits snugly. No twisting needed.
Heat and draw
Set your temperature as usual and draw slowly.
Clean and swap
Soak in isopropyl alcohol, rinse with warm water and let it dry fully before refitting.

Is it longer than the Lobo's stock stem?
Yes, a little. Customers point out it's noticeably longer than the basic stem that comes with the Lobo, which is where the extra cooling comes from.
Glass or steel beads, which is better?
Steel balls are tougher and shed heat quickly. Glass beads keep the vapour path all-glass. Read glass vs metal stems on the Lobo.
Is it good for travel?
Yes. It's slim, tough and needs no water. See our Lobo travel setup.
How do I clean it?
Soak it in isopropyl alcohol, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Let it dry fully before you use it again.

Do I still need a screen?
Yes. Keep a screen in your Lobo or ONE so loose material can't get into the stem. Our 9.8mm brass screens are made for the Lobo.
